The Jello Pit: Shout out out out out @ Lee's Palace

Change of heart: I've decided crowd surfing is acceptable at vocoder-happy indie disco shows, pictured.

Usually I'm peeved someone is forcing me to hold 'em up and throw 'em around at a clearly-labelled dance party. At metal shows, yes, let's launch 'em and bruise 'em, but c'mon here, in the words of Dane Cook, *insert girly lisp* "I just want to dance!".

All changed when Edmonton's Shout Out Out Out Out (S4 to some) grooved people into a such a frenzie, their devil-eyed intensity, pictured, seemingly inducing the members into a trance-like state.

Perfection: I believe during Dude You Feel Electrical every crowdling was jumping in solidarity while swaying as if a big bowl of jello. You had to be there. Usually crowds F-up the timing, but this is what you get when you combine 4/4 loving electro heads with the gut instincts of rockers. It was short lived, but definitlely the most impressive jello pit I've ever seen!

A vibe comparable to Toronto's Holy Fuck shows less the experimentation, a sweaty good dance party indeed.
