Nothing like a young, freshly-branded-with-inverted-cross Glen Benton of Deicide to speak on behalf of all metal in his quest "to create the most evil-ist music and to gain entrance into the southern gates of hell." - an innocent idiocy moment a la Metalocalypse if I ever did see.
The film tracks the late-80s backlash - courtesy of the religious right and Tipper Gore - against Satanic reference in heavy metal and hard rock. It features sound, defensive arguments from Judas Priest, Twisted Sister, Jello Biafra, even John Denver, but the clip of satanic posterchild Benton does it for me. Kinda reminds me of another unintelligible interview moment in death metal, or as it was clearly described, "shedding the outer skin and going into the inner skin": Morbid Angel's David Vincent
